Special Ferns Found This Fern Day

As most of you who follow the history of Fern Day know, the Native tribe who lives in the jungle also celebrates Fern Day. It has a special meaning for them, and we hope you will take time to see their Fern Day Ceremony this year.

It was because of their special link to the day, that they were asked by the Oracles to grow additional ferns for not just their ceremony, but for the Island wide Fern Day Celebration. An older Native was put in charge of the crop of Ferns to be ready for Fern Day. He had a young helper who was new to his position and took it very seriously. The Older Native instructed the younger one on how to care and protect the tender ferns as they grew, and showed him the secret fern food that had been passed down for generations to help insure the ferns would grow. No matter what difficulties befell the tribe, the growing potion would insure that the ferns would survive and thrive.

So the ferns did thrive, but some bad weather hit the hidden fields where the ferns were growing. The young native worried that in his first challenge of growing the tribe's sacred ferns, he would fail. He felt the added pressure that they would also be providing all the other ferns, and would there be enough for all? So in his desperation, he added perhaps an extra shot of the growing potion or arrsing irear when he fed and watered the ferns. It was not obvious at first, but it soon became obvious, that the potion should not have been used as much as it was.

So when you see the 'different' fern, the 'wild' fern the OH MY MORPHEUS! Fern. You will know why this fern is as it is. Fern Day has always been full of it's share of surprises, and this is just another to add to it's History.

We hope you all enjoy the 'wild' ferns and find nice homes for them.
